About NERC Inadvertent Monitoring Application

The NERC Inadvertent Monitoring Application is designed to submit, track, and monitor inadvertent performance by balancing authority, region, and interconnection. This application will enable assessment of performance relative to NERC guidelines and standards with the goal of improving reliability performance.

The NERC Inadvertent Monitoring Application is designed to enable Balancing Authorities to monitor compliance with NERC guidelines and standards and resolve issues related to Inadvertent Interchange.

The application is designed for Balancing Authority Schedulers, Region Administrators and NERC System Administrator to:

• Monitor and analyze inadvertent performance
• Check for compliance with NERC guidelines and standards
• Provide the data for NERC and FERC reports
• Produce NERC monthly and dispute reports by region.
